Indian restaurants have started opening up all around USA in recent years. It can be a bit daunting as there seems to be an Indian restaurant in every neighborhood in the vast city. As a USA states Los Angeles-based Indian food journalist, I believe I have an advantage when it comes to sifting through the competition to identify the best Indian eateries in the area. Some of the top Indian restaurants in Los Angeles include hip bistros creating colorful fusion dishes and small, independently owned eateries serving traditional fare.

Baar Baar

An elegant, fine-dining Indian restaurant, Baar Baar is a New York City import. Under the direction of chef Sujan Sarkar, the skilled culinary team has created a menu that features both traditional Indian cuisine and seasonal California ingredients.
